Build Something Different: Makers Club
Learn the basics of Robotics and Engineering to create projects with raw materials!
Students will design and build their own smart robots and gadgets from scratch with raw materials, such as acrylic sheets and wood. They will be introduced to basic engineering to put together the robot, as well as coding to personalize their robot’s actions using BBC’s Microbit (a pocket-sized computer you can control with custom code to control robots and even IoT devices).
Students will be able to enhance their products after completion, like by adding movement sensors to avoid obstacles.
At the end of the camp, students will take home their smart robots and be equipped with the skills and knowledge to build their next robot!
