A Maker’s Workshop for Kids
Innovating for Change
Introduce your kids to the “maker world" through creativity, technology and engineering.
BSD Maker Workshop allows young students to explore the “maker world" by combining the use of technology, engineering and one’s creativity. This camp will instill and emphasize the “maker culture" of learning-through-doing by challenging the students to ideate, design, model and build.
They will be further challenged as they will be given a real-world issue and will be tasked to innovate a solution and build a prototype to see how it works! This whole process will allow them to exercise their critical thinking, learn common principles of engineering as well as design thinking via the use of use of motors and gears.
Applying their creativity, engineering principles and combining technology, robots and tools, students will build a fully-functional robotic prototype with 3D printing models.
